Americans willing to help? :D?

Sure. A lot of Americans where I live have Irish ancestry, including myself. It's fun to go to places where your roots originated. That's probably the biggest reason I know that friends go to UK. Other than that it's just experiencing other cultures without them being "cheap" so to speak. Britain is obviously going to be a nicer vacation spot than most other places or continents. Also there's the fact that our nation is good allies with UK (and our countries trade a lot) so it's an easy place to travel to AND everybody speaks English!
