How absurd + hypocritical is it for the government to film you constantly but then charge you for filming them?

As much as the mentioning of the ACLU wants to make me puke, they finally have one right. It's been ruled many times in court, it there is no expectation of privacy, anyone is fair game to be video taped. Key wording.....expectation of privacy.
