Does anyone know of a professional wrestler called Paula from the late 1970's in the UK?

A friend of mine claims that she was named after a professional wrestler called Paula, but we can't find any reference to this sportswoman. My friend was born in 1979 in the UK, and because American Wrestling wasn't big over here then, we ume she was British.
