Do fundamentalist evangelical Christians (FEC) appreciate that Jehovah Witnesses (JW) also spread . . .?

. . . the word of Jesus' salvation? I know that many Christians aren't into the JW sect, but isn't this a huge commonality between the two ---- witnessing? I would think there could be a huge gap bridged between the sects, and heck, why don't FEC start coming to people's doors since they believe spreading the word is so important? Shouldn't they too start putting their money where their mouth is?
